Happy Birthday Elm Cottages
 On the 9th September Elm Cottages in Hilders Lane celebrated their 100th birthday with a street party.
The eighteen cottages that make up Elm Cottages got together in full force to put on side stalls, competitions and a huge hog roast feast. The  'Band With No Name' along with guest musicians completed the festivities in the evening with superb music and songs.
At nine pm the music was briefly halted with a rip roaring chorus of 'Happy Birthday' a fabulous birthday cake was donated to the party by Sue Clifford. The fanfare was roudned off with a burst of fireworks and the music continued.
